First attempt at manga profiles, using Mark Crilley's guide
When learning to draw, as I am, I've heard you're meant to spend 50% practising the technique, but then spend the 2nd 50% drawing the stuff you actually want to draw - even if you've not got the technique down at all.
And so, as I start to learn the very basics of drawing, I'll also be attempting to draw some manga.
Here are the first attempts. Done following step by step instructions from Mark Crilley's guide. Early indicators are that I'll grow to hate drawing hair - but overall, came out better than I thought it would on a first pass.
